Our Story

West L.A. Casita Collective was built on a lifelong foundation of design. Growing up with a father who was both an artist and architect and a mother deeply immersed in real estate, founder Dominique Beltran McAnulty spent her childhood surrounded by mid-century architecture, creative expression and homes that told a story. Design wasn’t just a skill, it was a language spoken at home shaping her natural eye for style, proportion, and aesthetics.

The spark for the business came years later, when Dominique and her husband moved into their current home together. Furnishing the space became an unexpected creative joy. Friends and family gravitated toward the pieces she selected, often asking where they came from, sparking the idea that these same styles could be curated, accessible, and shared with others.

What began as a simple experiment purchasing a few pieces, storing them in a public storage unit, and reselling them on Facebook Marketplace quickly grew beyond expectation. Word spread. Demand rose. An Instagram page followed, gaining traction organically and rapidly, solely through authentic connection and zero paid marketing. With each step, the vision became clearer: a curated collection of furniture that felt cohesive, elevated, and attainable.

This led to the next chapter a boutique showroom in West Los Angeles. A space designed not just to display furniture, but to inspire. Here, clients can explore curated pieces in person and experience the textures, tones, and craftsmanship that define the Casita aesthetic.
